Certified Educator
With 12+ years of experience in education, I am a licensed Illinois teacher, holding a BA in Early Childhood Education, an MA in Special Education, and an LBS1 certification. I am also trained in the Wilson Reading System (Steps 1-6). Through Smarter Bees Educational Services, I bring together my knowledge and experience with a genuine passion for helping learners of all ages build confidence, achieve academic success, and feel supported every step of the way.
Community Engager
I believe learning thrives in community. Whether it’s dressing up for school events or celebrating milestones with students and families, I love being part of the moments that bring us closer together. Smarter Bees is more than a tutoring service—it’s a place where relationships are built and every learner feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
Connection Builder
Connecting with people beyond the classroom is one of my favorite parts of this work. From local markets to community events, I enjoy sharing resources, swapping stories, and having real conversations with parents, caregivers, and adult learners. Building these connections helps ensure our hive stays strong, informed, and supported because we’re all in this together!
